The series runs from 1998 to the present and uses Argo profile measurements interpolated with the Akima method.
Interpretation Notes
- Early years have fewer Argo profiles than recent years, so check profile counts before comparing long-term values.
- The annual averages support exploratory visualization and education. Use original Argo data and a reproducible analysis workflow for publication-grade results.
